Award travel planning

An award travel consultant for one trip, priced in cents per point.

You bring a destination, rough dates and your balances. I find the routing, map the transfer partners and ratios, check for bonuses worth waiting for, and tell you what each option is worth per point, or that cash is the better buy this time.

How it works

From trip brief to a plan you can book

  1. Send a trip brief

Travelers, airports, date window, cabin and the points you hold. It takes about five minutes.

  2. I do the research

Award search across every program your points can reach, with transfer ratios, timing and live bonuses checked.

  3. One-hour call

We walk through the options side by side, with the cents-per-point value and the taxes and fees for each.

  4. Written plan

Flights, the program to book through, the exact transfer and the steps in order, so you can book it yourself.

What you get

A plan, not a sales pitch

  • Award search across the programs your points can actually reach
  • Transfer path and timing, including bonuses worth waiting for
  • Cents-per-point math on each option, side by side with the cash fare
  • Taxes, fees and fuel surcharges called out before you commit
  • An honest “don’t use points for this” when that is the answer
  • A written summary afterward so you can book it yourself

Pricing

One hour, one trip

$250 · per hour

The research happens before the call, so the hour is spent deciding, not searching. Payment details are sent with your confirmation.

Planning or a booking service?

You keep the keys to your accounts

Many award booking services charge per passenger and book the tickets for you inside your accounts. That suits some travelers. This works differently: you get the reasoning and the plan, and you make the booking yourself, so your logins stay yours and you learn the moves for next time.

It is also measured. Every option is priced against the cash fare in cents per point, and the plan tells you plainly when paying cash and saving the points is the better call.

Who it suits

Worth it when the trip is

  • Business or first class, where points stretch furthest
  • International, with partner airlines and more than one way to route it
  • Funded by transferable points: Amex, Chase, Citi, Capital One, Bilt or Wells Fargo
  • For two or more travelers, where finding enough seats is the hard part

Probably not worth it for a short domestic economy trip. Cash is usually the better buy there, and I will tell you so.

Questions

Before you book a planning call

Do you book the flights for me?

No. You get a written plan with the exact flights, the program to book through, the transfer to make and the steps in order, and you book it in your own accounts. If you want, we can do the booking together on the call.

Do I need to share my account passwords?

Never. Everything happens in your own accounts. I only need your balances and your trip details, which you send through the trip brief.

What if there is no award space for my dates?

That happens, especially in premium cabins. You will get the next-best options, a cash comparison, and the dates and routings most likely to open up. If the space you want is not there yet, I can keep watching those dates and email you when it appears.

Which points can you work with?

American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou, Capital One, Bilt and Wells Fargo, plus the airline and hotel programs you already hold.

How far ahead should I plan?

As early as you can. Many airlines release award seats around 330 to 360 days out, and the best premium-cabin space often goes early. Last-minute space does appear, but you cannot count on it.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is a second opinion on an award booking, priced in cents per point. Decisions about your cards, credit and spending are yours.

Tell me where you want to go.

Send the trip brief and I will come back with the options worth your points.
